I knew 20 years ago when I met my wife’s twin cousins, Megan & Andrew, that I wanted to contribute to the disabled community in some way. The twins are non-verbal and require continuous care, but when I saw how deep and meaningful their family connections were, I knew I wanted to give back somehow. Since the twins are in KY, we looked for an organization close by that provided the same level of care that they receive. I knew I wanted to advocate for those who could not do for themselves; to speak for the voiceless, to act on behalf of the immobile. And then I met Parc Center for Disabilities.

The first time I volunteered, I felt I had found my purpose in giving. To this day, I believe that I’ve learned and grown in immeasurable ways, and it couldn’t have happened at any other place but here. Being part of the Parc family makes me a better husband, a better father, a better coworker, a better advisor, and a better human.
