A pillar in the educational community, since 1953 Discovery Learning Center has been offering early intervention services, individualized therapies, and an expansive early educational curriculum that fosters fun and stimulates intellectual engagement to thousands of children. At DLC, we know that every early experience in a child’s life is important. Our highly trained team of EEIC educators understand that “it only takes one” compassionate adult to positively impact a child’s early brain development and ultimate school success.

OUR CENTER

Discovery Learning Center offers beautiful and inclusive classrooms where all children, 2 months through 5 years of age, are encouraged to become lifelong learners through fun and meaningful interactions.

VPK

Guiding each child toward school readiness, Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten is a free and very important program of learning opportunity for children who reside in Florida and turn 4 years old by September 1st of the new school year.

Creative Curriculum

Features exploration and discovery as a way of learning and enabling children to develop lifelong critical thinking skills.

Teaching Strategies Gold®

Provides specific strategies and resources for every type of learner, including dual-language learners and those with special needs.

Transportation

Punctual transportation service to pick-up and drop-off your child (based upon availability)

LAMPERT’S THERAPY PARTNER

Partnering with Discovery Learning Center and PARC for more than a decade, Lampert’s Therapy Group delivers on-site, speech, physical, and occupational therapies to enrolled students in our beautiful Thoresen Foundation Rainforest Therapy Center.

Congratulations to 2021 Teacher of the Year, Tabetha Grazeono. Tabetha was chosen as Teacher of the Year because of her dedication to the center, the care she provides for the children, and her overall positive outlook. Tabetha is always willing to step in and help wherever she is needed without hesitation and the parents love her. Tabetha truly embodies the mission of Discovery Learning Center by being compassionate and caring and always striving to provide quality care in her classroom so that her students get the support and opportunities that they deserve.
