Ingredient Nutrition

Students learn about healthy alternatives and prepare recipes with fresh, local ingredients, in addition to learning how to read food labels.

All kitchen equipment and utensils used are kept clean and in a good condition using the 'Wash, Rinse and Sanitize' method.

Learning and mastering a variety of cooking methods like steaming, searing and sautéing, is key to a successful kitchen career.

Beyond chopping, slicing, mincing, and dicing, knife skills involve a range of activities, including: identifying and using basic set of chef's knives.
