SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES

Supported Living services offer the supports necessary for an adult, who has a developmental disability, to establish, live in and maintain a household of their choosing in the community. They typically reside in smaller residences either individually or with no more than two other people who have a developmental disability. No matter the circumstance, each individual is independently responsible for daily routines and household needs.

Supported Living coaching services provide training and assistance in a variety of activities to support these individuals who live in their own homes or apartments.  Services may include retention or improvement of skills related to activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene and grooming; household chores; meal preparation; shopping; personal finances and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable recipients to reside on their own.
