Burkett Villa is a group home for adults who are over 40 years of age. Fifteen residents enjoy activities and community excursions based on personal choice with a focus on life quality enhancements.
Burkett Villa offers a home-like atmosphere. Staff members and clients consider the villa their home and their family.
Currently, Burkett has 16 employees including a registered nurse, a recreation coordinator and a program specialist to meet the needs of its clients. The youngest resident is 47 years old, while the oldest is 73. Only one resident is officially “retired,” while participating in PARC’s work and recreational programs.
Although some of Burkett’s residents are older, they haven’t slowed down. Most residents are off to John’s Pass, Baywalk, a baseball game, Busch Gardens or the aquarium just to name a few venues for socializing.

- Mondays: Exercise Class
- Tuesdays: Arts and Crafts
- Every Wednesday: Safety Meeting
- Thursday: (evenings) Bingo
- Every Sunday: Church outing (optional)
Other activites may include the following:
Guys and Ladies night out, monthly Resident choice meals, music, dancing, shopping, dinner and picnics in the park.
