PCI History

PARC Center Industries (PCI) is a division of PARC and has been in business for over 30 years. Businesses partner with PCI to fulfill their assembly, packaging and shipping needs. PCI is able to deliver high quality service with efficient and cost effective outcomes. PCI workforce is always prepared to assist your business with occasional or ongoing projects.

PCI employs over 200 working individuals with developmental disabilities supported by production supervisors, non-disabled assembly workers, quality control staff at three separate locations and truck drivers.

• PCI assembles, inspects, packages and salvages over 1 million pieces of work a week- over 4 million a month!

PCI projects

PCI has worked on many diverse projects for over thirty years. Projects include: 

• Packaged over 250,000 replacement batteries for medical equipment

• Assembled and packaged over 750 heavy-duty, three gallon pressure sprayers 

• Labeled and mailed 20,000 postcards for a November 2006 election campaign 

• Packaged 35,000 calendars in mailing tubes

• Packaged product samples into 25,000 soft-sided lunch bags

• Packaged, assembled and inspected over 80 million pens, pencils, note pads, advertising magnets, key-ring flashlights and mouse pads

• Assembled over 500,000 priority mailboxes

• Worked for corporate marketing departments and advertising agencies on large promotions and sales campaigns

• Assembled approximately 2 million marketing brochures with inserts

• Attached over 5,000 product samples and advertising magnets to sales brochures 

• Performed the final packaging for over 60,000 vitamins originally in blister packs

• Packaged, labeled and mailed smoke detector batteries to 175,000 homeowners
