A group of 7 employees from Progress Energy visited PARC as part of their service days associated with the 2009 annual United Way Employee Campaign activities. While lending a hand at PARC they were able to begin a huge furniture project that over 700 individuals at PARC use daily. The Progress Energy team was able to accomplish the first coat of varnishing on over 30 pieces.  With continued volunteer efforts, PARC needs a 3 coat finish on these high quality pieces donated by Mr. Gomez, a tenured and dedicated PARC volunteer.
