PG&F HISTORY:
Parents, Guardians & Friends of PARC was started in July 2000 by a group of 16 parents and guardians of children and adults with developmental disabilities who reside and/or attend programs at PARC.
MISSION:
The general purpose of this group is to serve as an avenue for parents, guardians and friends to stay informed and involved in the daily lives of their loved ones who are served by PARC.
GET INVOLVED:
We are always looking for people to serve on the board of directors and to volunteer. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming involved.
MEETINGS:
Meetings are designed to provide a social setting which allows members to network with each other, to feature informative speakers of relevant topics and to foster open communication with PARC staff and administration. General membership meetings are held quarterly.
MEETING LOCATION:
General meetings are held at the PARC's Adult Training Gym, located at 3100 75th St. North, St. Petersburg, Florida, unless otherwise noted. Meetings start with a 6:30 p.m. social hour, followed by a general meeting beginning at 7 p.m.
BUSINESS MEETINGS:
Business meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted. These meetings are open to anyone who wants to attend. The meetings are held at the office of President Candy Baur, 11400 47th Street North Suite B, Clearwater, Florida. (click here for directions)
